Tap Pet Hotel is a cute game for iPhone that allows you to build and expand a pet hotel.
This game is pretty similar to other "city-building" games in the genre. You start off with a limited number of credits and must build a pet hotel and attract guests in a bid to earn money that allows you to build more. Being a pet hotel, Tap Pet Hotel has a distinctly animal theme, with over 50 different pets for you to look out for.
Your Tap Pet Hotel will need interesting facilities, staff, themes and interconnecting passages between them all in order to really thrive. Everything is managed via swiping and tapping, but we found that you often needed to tap more than once to get a piece to "stick" in place. You can also visit your animal-themed neighbors if you’re looking for inspiration.
Given the animal theme and cute, colorful graphics, it’s obvious that Tap Pet Hotel is mainly aimed at children. That’s means that you’d want to be aware that there is an in-app credit purchase system available, which you need to disable unless you want some hefty Tap Pet Hotel charges appearing on your credit card!
Tap Pet Hotel is a colorful, cute game aimed firmly at kids. It’s just a pity it’s not a little more innovative.
