Free Open World Role Playing Game

Avakin Life is an open world game where user-created avatars interact in virtual reality. Players can customise their own character, build and design their home, meet new friends and explore the game world alongside thousands of other players in this free download.

A Second World

Drawing heavy inspiration from similar games like Second Life, Avakin Life brings the popular open role playing style game to smartphones. While this does mean the graphics and extra settings are limited, the community is far larger and more diverse. Players can shop for new household items, travel the virtual world and interact with others via voice or text chat, creating their own unique avatar and friends along the way. Despite being a free download, this app has an in-game currency which is fairly limited and requires real world money for extra purchases.

Virtual Reality

Avakin Life is a decent game which has a few problems due to the nature of smartphone-based games. The overall look isn't hugely impressive, the world can feel small and purchases quickly become expensive for the higher end items. Players will mainly enjoy the social aspect over the fairly shallow gameplay. Overall, however, Avakin Life offers a lot of fun mainly due to the large and active community with an on-the-go experience that PC based varieties cannot compete with.
