The audioguide application to the permanent exhibition at the National Gallery of Art (NGA) is a new service that provides an opportunity to art lovers and visitors to the gallery to learn more about the works in its collection of 20th-century Lithuanian art, and offers a quick and easy guide to events at the gallery. The gallery’s permanent exhibition consists of works by prominent Lithuanian artists: painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers and contemporary artists. The NGA holds exhibitions of Lithuanian and international art, and hosts film screenings, talks by artists, public discussions, and creative educational events. New forms of intellectual entertainment provide a unique experience, and expand visitors’ knowledge and understanding of visual culture.
